Hyannis

Hyannis, MA is right next to Falmouth. It has many fun activities and things to do! You can take a cat boat ride, tour the famous Cape Cod Potato Chip factory, and rent a Harley. You can also take a pirate adventure, shop, eat, and see a show at the Shaughnessy Theatre. The Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis is the only mall in the Falmouth area, so many people go there. There is also a duck boat ride, just like the one in Boston, MA.

Woods Hole

Woods Hole is located at the tip of Falmouth. It's culture and fun shines, and attracts many visitors along with the locals residing there. Most people come to catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. There are many small shops and restaurants along with a beautiful beach and scenery. Many people come to boat and fish along with catch a view of the beautiful lighthouse. Popular restaurants include Captain Kidd, the Landfall, and Pie in the Sky to name a few of our favorites. Some people come to Woods Hole to study Marine Biology or attend Mass Maritime. Come down to Woods Hole and see what we mean!

Restaurants!

There are plenty of places to eat. Captain Kidd is in Woods Hole, has very good burgers and other food items like that. Fishmonger's Cafe has breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is right on the water in Woods Hole. The Landfall is also a great place to eat in Woods Hole. Seafood Sam's is close to Old Silver Beach and has a great selection of fresh seafood! For breakfast and brunch, there is Cape Cod Bagel Cafe, which is near Falmouth Village and has great bagels and other breakfast foods. Pie in the Sky is a cute little cafe in Woods Hole and has great breakfast!

FLASH MOB

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhT9J5q5esk&feature=related

In august of 2011, a group of people did a flash mob in the middle of the beach. As you can see, the beach is always crowded and many people know of it and love it just as much as we do! August definitely has the best beach weather and warmest ocean water. The sunsets are always the best part of our day!!

Where to stay

There are many places to stay in Falmouth. The Seacrest is a hotel right on Old Silver Beach, along with it's own private beach. The Admiralty Inn is also great place to stay. The Woods Hole Inn is further down in the Cape from Falmouth that has great access to the Vineyard.

What to Do!

Beaches: Old Silver Beach is the most popular beach in Falmouth, very crowded on the weekends and around July 4th. There you can get a bite to eat at the snack shack, relax on the beach, and also rent a variety of water sports equipment at Old Silver Beach Water Sports. They have jet skis, kayaks, sailboats, and much more. Other beaches include the Cliffs (private) and the Heights.
Come down to
the center where you can shop, grab a bite to eat, including ice cream and candy shops. It also features an arcade and bowling alley along with a park. Mini-golf and go-cart places are also in the area.
